 Subsea & Pipeline 

At NextHarbour, our team brings decades of expertise in subsea systems, offshore pipelines, and large-scale energy infrastructure projects, spanning concept design, construction, inspection, and decommissioning.

We have successfully delivered projects across the full lifecycle:

  • Subsea Decommissioning & Recycling
    Led decommissioning campaigns for major offshore systems, including the Enfield Subsea System and Echo Yodel Pipeline, ensuring safe recovery, recycling, and environmentally responsible disposal of subsea infrastructure.
  • Pipeline Construction & Installation
    Delivered the 42” 1000km Browse Trunkline, one of the most complex pipeline coating and installation scopes in Australian waters (depths up to 550m).
    Oversaw pipeline installation for the Great Western Flank 2 Development, from concept select to FEED engineering, contract award, offshore installation, and start-up, completed below budget and ahead of schedule.
  • Subsea Construction & Flowlines
    Represented the operator during the OKHA FPSO 15km gas lift flowline replacement, including saturation diving campaigns with DOF Subsea.
  • Inspection & Integrity
    Delivered inline inspection (ILI) campaigns for existing pipelines, including onshore modifications and land access agreements to support ExxonMobil’s Bass Strait CCS project.
  • Technology & Innovation
    Advanced pipelay technologies and reeling methodologies for faster, more cost-efficient offshore pipeline delivery.
    Integrated AI and machine learning into offshore reservoir and asset planning—accelerating insights for subsea field development and long-term infrastructure resilience.
  • Strategic Leadership
    Partnered with governments, EPC firms, and joint venture operators to align large-scale subsea and pipeline projects with Net-Zero and ESG objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable outcomes.
